Sensual Surrender is the second book in the Serafina Sin City Series. This series began as a spin off from Red Stone Security’s Breaking Her Rules (Iris and Wyatt’s story) Sensual Surrender can be read as a stand-alone book. This book features Ellie and Jay. Ellie has created a new life for herself . But, mistakes she made in the past come back to haunt her. When Ellie’s past catches up with her rather than involve Jay (her longtime live-in lover) she decides to try and handle it on her own, basically leaving Jay a “Dear John” note. Jay will do anything to find her, help her and protect her. It was very easy to relate to Ellie and the stupid choices that she made as a teenager and when she did to overcome her past and build a new life for herself. She was a little frustrating in that she did not have more faith in Jay and had not shared her past with him – however it was kind of understandable why she did this when everything came to light. Jay is the ultimate alpha hero and someone you would want to have in your corner day or night. This is a well written romantic suspense book that will keep you turning pages until you are finished.

Enjoyed reading the book

Like all Katie's books this one did not disappoint me I loved the story line, it gets you hook from the first chapter. The love story and what the characters go through is intriguing and stressful, but shows you that when love is real you can go through anything with you other half...
I enjoyed the story. Although I would of enjoyed it a lot more if the heroine's looks had been described more fully, but because the hero's looks got the same treatment, from the author, I did not mind it too much. At least she was described as pretty twice, if in a round about way
My favorite book so far in this spinoff Series! So emotional with plenty of action. With each book I read/listen to of this authors I'm thankful for the hours and hours of entertainment she has provided!
Once again, Katie Reus hits it out the park with Sensual Surrender. I absolutely loved everything about this book. The dynamics between all the characters (not just Jay and Ellie) are fantastic and make the story have more edges which is something I love in the books I read. I was a little worried with the fact that Jay and Ellie were already an established couple before this book started but it ended up to be unnecessary worry. The chemistry between these two were explosive and I completely fell in love with these two! I would totally recommend this book to anyone who loves a romance story filled with twists and turns, action, sass! I will definitely re-read this book!
This is the second book in Katie Reus's Seraphima-Sin City Series and this series is a take off from the Red Stone Security series. As I have read all those books and enjoyed them, I hoped I would love this. The first book of the series was a short novella and although good, was too short for me to get a feel for how this series would go. I am happy to say that the second book, Sensual Surrender gives me everything I look for in a Katie Reus book. There is an actual storyline as well as good romance. This is not a mystery but enough suspense and action to really keep me turning pages. Loved the primary characters as they both were good people, and really enjoyed getting glimpses of some secondary characters who I hope will get their own stories. If you liked any of the Red Stone Security books, I think you will enjoy this series and this book.
